Why We Serve in East afrca?
Child Impact Africa is surrounded by a loving community full of people who need and deserve financial, education, and counselling help so as to bring hope, joy, and love to them and make them feeling loved.
86% of the population of east africa live in rural areas and poverty is a phenomenon. Many children live in remote communities- with 55 percent of the village's children living below poverty line.
Orphans and widows are among the hardest hit from the country's turmoil as they have been left to fend for themselves—either on the streets or in the remains of IDP camps. Healthcare is a great concern for families. Access to medical facilities is limited and costly. Without access to even the most basic necessities or services, acute conditions such as malnutrition are rampant. Psychological and emotional stresses affect all ages. Unresolved trauma resulting from horrific war-time experiences haunts adults and children alike.
